CSALT Media is a dream come true for all filmmakers, photographers and creatives who deeply desire to make quality content that stands the test of time. 

CSALT Media is a skill and character-developing course which uses mentoring as a training tool whilst giving constant professional feedback from experts in the field who believe in making films with integrity.

CSALT Media students will be awarded a Diploma of Screen delivered online through Alphacrucis College and in partnership with B4 Media on completion of the following units:

  • Originate and develop concepts

  • Edit screen content for a fast turnaround

  • Create titles for screen productions

  • Make a presentation

  • Establish and maintain a safe creative practice

  • Collaborate in a creative process

  • Develop storylines and treatments

  • Coordinate film and media production services and resources

  • Edit complex screen productions

  • Record sound on location

  • Undertake project work

  • Research and apply creative arts knowledge

  • Direct cinematography for screen productions

  • Direct performers for screen productions

CSALT Media focuses on developing students’ creative and business confidence to be able to either freelance or start their own businesses. Over the duration of the course students will develop a portfolio in the following arenas of film:

  • B roll

  • BTS (Behind the scenes footage)

  • Corporate (Conferences, business events, lectures)

  • Documentary cinematography and production

  • Commercials and advertisements

  • Music film clips

  • Live music events

  • Feature film (Mini production)

In CSALT Media rather than putting the main emphasis on gear and tech which is what most Tafes and Universities do, this course focuses on creating meaningful and emotive content. Content that engages people, empowers people, and moves people.
